Katrina Im, PMHNP-BC

Katrina Im, PMHNP-BC is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner dedicated to providing holistic treatment to those seeking mental health care. 

She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Boston College and later received her Master of Science in Nursing at Yale University with an induction to the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She is certified to treat throughout the lifespan and has received specialized training to treat children and adolescents. Currently, she is focused on treating children through early adulthood.

She has also completed basic training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which she uses to inform her overall care.  She utilizes a psychodynamic treatment approach to treat the whole person.

In the last 9 years, she has trained and worked in multiple intensive child and adolescent settings. Most recently, she has focused her career working in the outpatient setting.

As a nurse practitioner, her goal is to provide individualized care using a combination of psychotherapy and psychopharmacology to empower her patients to feel in control of their lives.
